And so I told him,

during another one of our trivial conversations,

That he was too expensive.

I retract my "buy one get one free" statement,
 4
because he said it made him feel cheap.
 5
 
 
Suggestions are made,

I grant him that he's too expensive to buy.
 7
That I could only window-shop,
 8
And upon viewing him on display,
 9
 
 
I would only look at him behind his barrier of glass.
