Random Poem:

The Gift of a Spider (Revised)
Whiskeyjack

With a mastery of motion, so simply elegant
 1
The spider crawls across the door
 2
Not understanding, not knowing what it is for
 3
The door swings open with out his consent
 4
He fears for a moment, as he feels a worlds torment
 5

For even a spider shall know regret
 6
When he dwells upon death’s door
 7
Though he offers only death, this tragedy he can’t ignore
 8
No longer unaware he begins to weave a net
 9
For that moment of agony this spider cannot forget
 10

The gift of one spider was that of life immortal
 11
His work now complete a tiny spider has died
 12
But no one knows and not a tear is cried
 13
Yet will his gift be good for the one time mortals
 14
Don’t be careless in answer, for the answer is subtle
