Random Poem:

Soul of an Innocent, Trying to stay Pure in a World of so many Evils
Derby

I stand between myself:
 1
Outside looking in.
 2
Inside looking through.
 3
I see myself dissipate in the mist,
 4
And so clearly my shadow hangs onto the ground.
 5

I fight between what I want inside,
 6
and what the world wants from me.
 7
I am trying to be me,
 8
while fighting to be free.
 9
Peer-pressure and consequence teaches me lessons
 10
and upon my heart, the callouses that are left.
 11

I cannot take too much
 12
but I am up for it all.
 13
I am willing to sacrifice,
 14
to kill,
 15
to birth,
 16
to cleanse any impurities within myself to bring about the new beginning that allows me to fully express myself within the natural boundaries that everyone creates for me.
 17

I am fighting for freedom from consequence.
 18
Between myself and the world.
 19
I am the hurricane, where my true eye is inside and my destructive nature out.
 20
I am the soul of an innocent, trying to stay pure in a world of so many evils.
 21

Maybe oneday, this war will end.
 22
I won't fight for myself and I will let go.
 23
I will either be pure or pure evil.
 24
I will protect myself or indulge in others.
 25
My hatred grows as sainthood approaches.
 26

This is about me in a world of others.
 27
And if any others praise me
 28
then they should worry more about themselves than waste their energy on this endless war.
