Random Poem:

Black Umbrella
sparrow

I know it wasn't right
 1
for me, but I liked it all the same,
 2
liked him-
 3
despite the decided initial
 4
indifference I'd slipped away from,
 5
unnoticeably,
 6
like fish in hands.
 7

And now that I'm alone,
 8
I've opened up a black
 9
umbrella, indoors because
 10
I'm all dried up
 11
and would like to keep it that way.
 12

So though this inner downpour
 13
is happily drizzling on,
 14
filling used teacups, almost cleaning
 15
my mountains of dishes,
 16
I will not let it wash out all the
 17
traces you have left me.
