Random Poem:

Lasnamae tale
sisalik

Hammers, sickles, stars, posters,
 1
Emblems of a religion.
 2
Seven Sisters are your temples.
 3
The doms tell the tale.
 4
The spirit in gray cement,
 5
That calls to me from the grave.
 6

They tell
 7
Of defeat and depression.
 8
But hint
 9
Of pride
 10
And an ideal:
 11

Proletariat free from bourgeoisie,
 12
Prosperity, freedom, equality.
 13

Yet they search
 14
For the kernel
 15
The meaning elusive
 16
As a ghost
 17
Wandering in the desert.
 18
Foundation gone,
 19
But images remembered.
 20

Return.
 21
Return to the ancient order.
 22
Of pyramids and ziggurats,
 23
Of Ramadan,
 24
Of squares, triangles, circles,
 25
Of Jacob’s ladder,
 26
Of stone guilds and crusaders,
 27
Of stairways to heaven.
 28

The great level themselves
 29
And lift the low.
