Random Poem:

Noisy cats are we
VeroniCat

Begin the automatic nine-to-nine lifting;
 1
stand up in the air.  Don't go back to imitation:
 2
you are the hairshirt religion.
 3

We walk unafraid, parallel parakeets laughing
 4
in the aftermath; exhuming lepers, losing my tongue so
 5
fast, so numb.
 6

All the right bad days crush beachballs,
 7
disappear, turn to night, swimming.
 8

I've been high, banged and blamed, so
 9
why not smile? Reconstruction falls to climb,
 10
and Binky is gardening to be mine.
 11

It's the end of sitting still, shaking through, burning
 12
down, and second guessing — wind out.
 13

Want to buy this berry mill? It'll cost you a buck or a stipend.
