Random Poem:

The American Dream
preacher

The American dream used to be something worth living for,
 1
   something worth fighting for
 2
Up until now
 3
And the American dream used to be a dream worth dreaming
 4
Up until very
 5
   Very
 6
Recently
 7

Because, you see, when the television was invented
 8
It became an industry
 9
Everything became an industry
 10
Everything became advertisement
 11
Everything became money
 12
With the television came a generation of money-hungry fools
 13
Looking for more material wealth
 14

The American dream used to be something worth fighting for
 15
It used to be a dream of helping someone or becoming someone trustworthy and reliable.
 16
But then it turned into a dream of gaining fame,
 17
wealth,
 18
money
 19
cars
 20
houses
 21
And no dream as sick
 22
Could ever be dreamed
 23

You see, the American dream used to be a real dream, not just some fucked up, compulsive-shopper want.
 24
And now even the president is an ass who can’t speak our language properly and who can’t think enough to realize,
 25
THERE IS NO POINT IN MAKING WAR IF IT ONLY KILLS INNOCENT PEOPLE
 26
If the war doesn’t get us anywhere, why bother?
 27

And this country is such a great place to live, they say.
 28
But it kills you form the inside out using credit cards and banking funds.
 29
And half the people in this country are asses.
 30
And everyone knows, we don’t need any more asses in this country full of holes.
 31
Because if the balance is completed then the whole country will be an asshole.
 32
Imagine that…
 33
One big asshole.
 34

You see,
 35
The American dream used to be a dream worth dreaming,
 36
Up until now.
